out, instead of the outside in. We asked ourselves what would happen if we

today's parks, and how can we use such power to bring interactivity to a higher
level?
The answer is SmartWorks Entertainment
Technology. We call it SWEeT It involves utilizing the incredible power and
versatility of today’s computers to open the doors to unprecedented forms of
play experiences. A variety of sensors are discretely position throughout
the play area and are used to detect
the kinds of activities of the guests as they naturally want
to play. These sensors communicate at light speed to a central computer
system, called the smart controller, which is programmed to respond with a plethora of
exciting and sensory-pleasing
effects. Responsive to these inputs, Wizard Works is exploring means of using
all sorts of audible sounds such as bells, whistles, buzzers, horns and most
effectively, digitally-mastered sound effects that afford opportunities to create
hilarious sound effects which communicate with the guests. We even heckle
the participants in a fun-loving way. We are experimenting with the use of light effects
such as cop lights, strobe lights, fiber optic effects, water-illuminated
lighting and especially LED’s. Illuminated LED scoreboards and computer
controlled messaging boards have proven popular in our custom-designed games and
attractions. Water effects become very elaborate when controlled by our
SmartWorks systems. Then we add in compressed air to our interactive features
and, holy cow, we can deliver exciting play features like nobody else can.
Having fun with the
programming features is infinite. Choreographed effects that mix participant
actions with water effects, sound effects, light effects and air effects show that fun in the
21st century is better than ever. Mix in a healthy dose of
world-class theming that provides an atmosphere of fantasy which blends well
with the SmartWorks system, and you’ve got yourself a play-packed adventure.
The SmartWorks system can
be reprogrammed again and again, very easily, which will keep your attraction
