Entire families gather in their gigantic 8-foot raft in the upper pool. When they are safely situated, the attendant guides them over the weir and they begin their random journey. They bounce off air cushioned obstacles that alter their direction. They approach geysers that burst sprays of water upward from the playing surface. Situated on nearby walkways or overhanging bridges are giant push buttons, levers and devices that allow the spectators to join in the fun. They actually control the flipper paddles that cause the participants to get diverted. They wait anxiously for a family to pass nearby their geyser so that they can time it right and spray them with a surprising blast of water. They must have patience and precision to overturn the bucket at the exact time to drop the drenching gag onto their friends as they pass below. Launch bombs from the side, deploy water bombs, spray, soak and splash the throngs of participants that pass by.

The upper pool is designed to allow multiple families to get situated simultaneously, and launch whenever they are ready. There is no need to wait for one tube to reach a certain distance. In fact the ride is better when multiple tubes can launch at the same time. Don’t forget there is up to 5 people in a single tube, so there are dozens of people being launched as fast as possible.
